Himalayan Hand-Knotted
Jacaranda's Himalayan Rugs are hand knotted in Nepal and really do offer you the opportunity to be as creative as you wish.
Design. Choose a Jacaranda design from the 'Design' section below, or send us your own. Alternativley you can download our brochure and recolour the black & white plans on pages 10-12.
Colour. Choose from Jacaranda's colour book, or ask us to match yarns to pantones, paints or fabrics.
Fibre. Rugs can be knotted from Chinese Silk, Tibetan Wool or a combination of both. Silk motifs can be sheared flush but are particularly effective left high/low as in the our 'Daisy' design pictured below.
Textures are best chosen from our Himalayan sample folder, but are pictured in the 'Texture' section below. Choose from Velvet or Cut/Loop and from 60-120 knots per square inch. As the knot density increases the texture becomes finer and life expectancy increases, but so too does production time and cost.
Jacaranda accepts orders for this range on a proforma basis and will quote delivery date and price (per m2) at time of order. Jacaranda will supply 'poms' and 'samples sections' for unique colours and designs. There is a small charge for this service.
